The new horror series “The Midnight Club” trailer is out now on Netflix; The 10-episode horror series, which is based on Christopher Pike’s novel of the same name,
follows a group of terminally ill patients in Rotterdam Home who gather at midnight to swap spooky tales.
If somebody dies, the group agrees to communicate with the remaining members from the afterlife.
Adia, Igby Rigney, Ruth Codd, Aya Furukawa, Annarah Shephard, William Chris Sumpter, and Sauriyan Sapkota are among the cast members of the show.
Heather Langenkamp plays the mysterious doctor in charge of Rotterdam Home. Flanagan and “The Haunting of Bly Manor” author Leah Fong are the creators of the series.
Along with Trevor Macy and Adam Fasullo, vice president of television at Intrepid Pictures, Flanagan executive produces.
Fong also serves as an executive producer with Julia Bicknell and “The Midnight Club” author, Pike.
In the horror genre, Flanagan has created a ton of popular works, such as “The Haunting of Hill House,” “The Haunting of Bly Manor,” and “Midnight Mass” on Netflix.
Stephen King’s “Gerald’s Game” and “Doctor Sleep,” the follow-up to “The Shining,” were also produced by Flanagan.
Flanagan is also working on the miniseries “The Fall of the House of Usher,” based on the Edgar Allan Poe short story, in addition to “The Midnight Club.”
