Amini’s Death: Iranian deaths in detention resulted in 5 deaths.

Amini’s Death: Monday’s protests over the murder of a lady in police custody resulted in five deaths in Iran’s Kurdish area when security forces opened fire.

 

After being detained by the morality police in Tehran last week, Mahsa Amini, a 22-year-old from Iran’s Kurdistan province, went into a coma and later died away.

 

For those reasons, causing protests broke out in several places, including the capital.

 

In the Kurdish city of Saqez, where Amini was born, two people were killed when security forces opened fire on protesters.

 Approximately 2 million people mentioned #MahsaAmini on Twitter after the intense outcry over Amini’s passing.

 According to the authorities, Amini became ill while waiting with other women being detained by the morality police. 

But Amini’s father on numerous occasions that his daughter had no health issues. He blamed the police for her passing. Hengaw reported that on Monday, 75 individuals were injured.

Hengaw posted on Twitter, that protestors could be heard yelling “there is a war in Divandarreh” and accusing the police of attacking as they threw rocks. For Amini’s death, the US demanded accountability.

 Tehran Police commander Hossein Rahimi said; the police had done everything to keep her alive.
